Welcome to the 1st Young Actuaries World Cup

IAA announce the opening of the 1^st Young Actuaries World Cup (YAWC). The Young Actuaries World Cup is a friendly competition open to actuaries or actuarial students, under 35 years old and members of an IAA member association, interested to share their ideas or work.

YAWC participants are asked to submit a video no longer than 7 minutes long on the theme “Bridge to Tomorrow”, which can be interpreted in many ways by the participants, may it be on climate issues, new products, new areas of actuarial practice or in general how actuaries can contribute to a better society. The 4 finalists of the competition will be invited to play the finals at the ICA 2023 in Sydney. IAA will cover their airfare, ICA registration and accommodation.
